Halflong Highland Blend
About Halflong Highland Blend
Haflong — the only hill station in Assam — rises above the Barak Valley in the Dima Hasao district, surrounded by ridges that still carry wild orchids and dense mixed forest. While the region is best known for its tea gardens, small Dimasa and Zeme Naga farming communities have quietly grown Arabica coffee on the steeper slopes for decades, away from the lowland humidity that defines most of Assam.
Our Halflong Highland Blend combines Arabica lots from these small-holder plots, processed using a full-wash method that highlights the terroir’s natural acidity while pulling out the rich, toffee-like sweetness that a medium-dark roast develops beautifully.

Sourcing & sustainability
Procurement is through the Dima Hasao district farmer collective, which trains small-holders in post-harvest processing and provides price stability through multi-season contracts. Coffee cultivation in this region acts as an economic buffer for communities that depend heavily on a single tea season.
Storage
Store in an airtight container away from light and heat. Whole beans remain at peak quality for up to 45 days after the roast date.
